Jocks & Nerds Magazine

The other day i created this look on the beautiful model Karina! We were shooting for Jocks & Nerds magazine that is coming out in September and i was given the brief to create a smokey eye and a red lip that was translate in black and white photography. When you shoot in black and white makeup is really washed out so you have to go a lot darker and heavier so it shows up on camera.

I cant wait to show you all the final images!!

Wedding Makeup Artist Dominic Paul

I appreciate that, as for every bride, your wedding day is going to be one of the most important days of your life and certainly a day you want to look your very best! Wedding photographs last a lifetime and so you will want to look back and remember, in the years to come, just how beautiful you felt and looked.

I can help you look the bride you always wanted to be. I promise I will go above and beyond, using the techniques and tips I have gleaned from my work in fashion, to deliver the results you desire. Using high brand makeup products, I will make sure you look and fe

el confident, relaxed and radiant.

Weddings, big and small, take considerable planning. Make up trials are usually 6-8 weeks before your wedding day, but if you would like to think further ahead, why don’t we meet for a coffee to discuss your requirements and see if you think I am the right person to help you with your make-up on your special day.

We can discuss your personal style and any thoughts in terms of your overall look for the day and how I can help to ensure your make-up complements yo

ur hair and dress ‚Äď English Rose, Glitzy and Glam, Vintage, Natural ‚Äď are just a few ideas I have come up with this season‚Äôs brides.

The bridal trial is a special occasion and you will need to set aside a couple of hours to achieve the perfect look. Some brides like to involve their bridesmaid(s) or maybe the mother of the bride would also like a trial at the same time?

Wedding make up Trial Bride £50

If taken at the same time as Bride: Bridesmaid £30 Mother of Bride/Groom £30

Wedding Day Bride £70 Bridesmaid £35 Mother of the Bride/Groom £35 Bridesmaid under 10 £15

I can also offer Bridal make up lessons at £30 an hour.

These costs are inclusive of my travelling expenses within a 25 mile radius of Cranbrook, Kent. 35p per mile thereafter.

Airbrushing is available for an extra £10. Lashes at cost. At the time of booking a trial, a £50 payment will be due within 7 days. Following a successful trial, a 50% balance payment will be due within 7 days to hold your wedding date. The final 50% payment must be made the week before your wedding.

I can also offer special occasion make up, prom make up, engagement/boudoir shoots, themed make up and face painting. Please contact me for prices.

For more information and for bookings please don’t hesitate to email me on¬†

Smokey Eye

On Thursday I did an editorial shoot and I created a strong cat eyed smokey eye. To create this look i first covered the eyelids with urban decays eyeshadow primer
Then I used nars soft touch eyeshadow pencil all over the lid. Once I had the shape I desired on both eyes I then began to blend getting rid of any sharp edges. I then went over this shape with Ben nye black coal eyeshadow. Once that was completed I lined the lash line and the water line with too faced black waterproof liner. Then i added the silver eyeshadow that is in the naked pallet one to the inside of the eyes just to create depth. Once I was happy I finished the whole look off with lots of black mascara by Armani and big black false lashes.

This look was very easy to create and came across on camera very strong!
