Eyelash Extensions

Hi Ladies, I’m starting to do eyelash extensions again.

For bookings please contact me on

Dominic -Paul

  • FULL SET ¬£45
  • INFILLS ¬£20
  • REMOVAL – ¬£10

Heres a little information about eyelash extensions;

What are eyelash extension?

Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes placed on top of your own to create thickness and volume.

Do eyelash extensions damage your own lashes?

Eyelash extensions do not damage your own lashes if they are applied correctly. Aftercare is a must for all clients to maintain the desired look you have requested.

Does it hurt to have eyelash extensions put on?

Eyelash extensions do not hurt if applied correctly.

How long do they last?

Eyelash extensions can last up to 4-6 weeks if applied correctly. If you haven’t had them do
ne before you will probably have a few come out within the first 48 hours, but do not worry that is to be expected.

What is the aftercare for eyelashes?

  1. Avoid contact with water or steam for 24-48 hours after your appointment to allow the glue to cure. The longer you wait, the better! If you must shower, clean around your eyes and avoid getting water onto your lashes.
  2. Avoid exposing your lashes to prolonged heat, as this can weaken the bond and cause your extensions to fall off. No steam rooms, saunas or Bikram yoga!
  3. Only run a lash wand or brush through your extensions gently. If they are getting a little unruly, you may also separate and tidy your lashes using a toothpick, ideally after a shower.
  4. Avoid using oil-based products around your eyes.

Can i use mascara with eyelash extensions?

Most clients won’t see the need to putting mascara on. But if you do feel the need make sure its water based. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATERPROOF MASCARA!! (Oil-based eye makeup and makeup remover should also be avoided.)

How long does it take?

Eyelash extensions can take up to 60 – 90 minutes to be applied. But it all depends on your lash technician.

How often do i need refills?

You will need infills every 2-3 weeks but it depends on your own lashes as your own lashes grow and fall out all the time due to hair growth production.

( You must have a patch test done before hand before you have your eyelashes applied! )

The most amazing primer!! – Great for those with very oily skin!

Okay so I’ve been using this as my primer for the last week. And no I’m not kidding I really have. Not only is it cheap to buy and lasts for ages but you will stay matte all day especially if you have extremely oily skin like me. I find a lot of primers nowadays say they will keep you matte and this is never the case. But using ‘Milk of magnesia’ as your primer is the way forward and a total god send. I know this is weird but trust me if you use a few layers of this under your foundation you WILL stay shine free for at least 6 hours or maybe even more depending on how oily you are. So give it a go and you soon you will be saying goodbye to constantly powdering your face!

Gem Face

Today i created this look using gems all over my face! To do this i used eyelash glue with a bag of gems that i brought at my local craft shop and stuck them all over my face making sure it had some sort of pattern. I must say it does take some time but within no time you can create a look that is  photoshoot ready.

Gold Leaf

On Friday last week i had the pleasure of working with the gorgeous Nadia from Select model management!

The look you can see in the photo below was a combination of dewy skin and a hint of gold leaf highlight! I was really pleased with the final outcome and i cant wait to see the final photos!

‘Lingerie La Femme’

Hi lovely followers! I have some exciting news i have new work for ‘Lingerie La Femme.’ This time its called ‘For The Love Of Lace!’

Hope you all like it!!

What is strobing?

I have been asked by numerous people about What is strobing? So i am here to answer that question finally!

Strobing is another form of advanced highlighting in which you apply a highlighter to the high points on your face. Such as;Brow bone, above the brow, nose bridge, cupids bow, chin and cheek bones.  The key is to do it effortless giving the illusion you are fresh faced and natural as if you have a sun kissed glow. To be honest it is no different to what women have been doing already. Call it the new contouring.

If you are looking for products to do this i would advise using ‘Benefits High Beam’ or the hightlighter side from ‘Charlotte Tilbury’s Bronze & Glow.’

(Remember use a highlighter that complements your skin tone!)

I would advise if you are extememly oily to make sure you use a mattifying primer as this technique could make you look even more oilier than you are already.

How to get rid of Acne!

Ive suffered from acne since i was 15 and I’ve struggled for years to get rid of it! and nothing would help. I spent out fortunes on acne preventing products such as; creams, light therapies and skin peels. But they didnt help they only made it worse! But I recently had an eureka moment and i discovered how my acne is triggered and how i can prevent further breakouts. Don’t get me wrong i know it wont go completely because there many factors as to why people get acne and i know everyone is different but for me i know this is the reason why i do.

A few years back i had an allergy test because i kept being sick and having a stomach aches and i had a feeling it was triggered by dairy products. So i went and had an allergy test and it determined i was 100% intolerant. But it also showed i was allergic to numerous other things like; soya, pork, prawns, crab and white wine! (the white wine was the painful part) When i found out about this i thought long and hard and i realised those were the frequent things i ate and drank regularly.

I Then decided to test myself and cut down on them to see if i had any changes and i noticed a considerable amount. My skins appeared ¬†clearer and i noticed the cysts i had on my cheeks had gone down and i had no further breakouts under the skin! I cant lie i do get some small breakouts here and there but no where near as bad as i used to. Its just about monitoring what you put into your body and taking care of it. Im not saying you cant eat anything nice again but space it out don’t eat everything you like all at once.

I really hope this helps others out there who are suffering like i was. Its really easy to see an allergist, you get instant results and it makes you feel a lot more energised and more confident.

Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me on

Dominic Paul

Sundays photoshoot!!! coming soon…

On Sunday i had the pleasure of shooting with Ruth Richardson Childs at a stunning location on the outskirts of the M25. It was a hot summers day and the pressure was on to get some amazing photos that could eventually be in an international magazine. Here below is a shot of the gorgeous model Carolina at Next model management and a view of the stunning location!! I still cant get over the location because even though we were in the UK you would think we were abroad!!

The makeup i created was fresh skin a dewy complexion with a bold graphic black eyeliner!

I really cant wait to show you all the final photos!

Jocks & Nerds Magazine

The other day i created this look on the beautiful model Karina! We were shooting for Jocks & Nerds magazine that is coming out in September and i was given the brief to create a smokey eye and a red lip that was translate in black and white photography. When you shoot in black and white makeup is really washed out so you have to go a lot darker and heavier so it shows up on camera.

I cant wait to show you all the final images!!

Pro Clear Makeup Travel Bag!

Yesterday i went to Charles Fox in Covent garden. When I’m in London i always make an effort to visit this store because i always find new goodies! And today i purchased a four compartment roll up clear makeup bag. (sorry so many words to describe it! haha) Not only does it keep your kit looking nice and tidy it also makes life a lot easier when finding certain products! You can also roll it up and use it as a makeup bag as it had a handle which i think it perfect if you’re on the go or on set! I must say this is one of the first makeup bags that i feel i will keep for a very long time as I’m always swapping and changing, I might even buy another one ūüėČ

“I’ve read a lot about BB creams versus foundations but don’t know what’s really best and would would be best for me to wear during my big day. What do you think?‚ÄĚ

“I’ve read a lot about BB creams versus foundations but don’t know what’s really best and would would be best for me to wear during my big day. What do you think?‚ÄĚ
One of the main factors that differentiates BB creams and foundations is the thickness. BB creams are a lot lighter in texture and are similar to a tinted moisturiser. Foundations are  a lot thicker and aim to even out the skin tone giving you a flawless complexion. You can get a range of coverages with foundations such as light, medium and full. But it really depends on whether you need to even out your skin tone because of imperfections or just want to have a glowing complexion without looking too heavy! BB creams are mainly lightweight and are designed for those who have dry or combination skin. Also if you’re not used to wearing full coverage then i would suggest a BB cream as this gives a more natural look. However if you have oily skin then a BB cream is not for you because it will only enhance your oiliness.

Dramatic Smokey Eye

Today i created a dramatic smokey eye on the gorgeous model Erica from First Model Agency London.

Here are the list of products i used to create the look.

Brow Gel – Maybelline Brown Drama In Dark Brown

Eyeshadow – Nars 6 Well Shadow Palette

Eyeliner – Charlotte Tilbury Bedroom Black

Mascara – Eyeko

I really enjoyed creating this look – Erica has the most beautiful big wolf like eyes I’ve ever worked with and she is truly a talented model.

Cannot wait to see the photos!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Britain and Irelands Next Top Model Winner Jade Thompson for Syn Magazine.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with her, her skin is just incredible. With freckles like hers you really don’t want to cover them up because to me that is what makes her stand up! such a natural beauty.

I hope you all check out the editorial and please leave a comment below if you like it.

Too Cool For School

Dior Airflash Mattetouch

I am crazy obsessed with this product not only is it convenient and quick to apply it feels so light on the skin. I would definitely recommend this product to the women who ¬†hasn’t got much time to apply makeup and is in a hurry.

Will definitely be purchasing more of these so i can use them on my clients!!

10/10 Dior!

Nars Albatross Blush/Highlighter

Recently i have gained a new obsession and that is dewy glowing skin.  On a lot of editorials and weddings i have done i have been using the Nars Albatross Blush/Highlighter to create sun kissed  skin, dewy looks and higher defined cheek bones. I feel highlighter is an absolute must for all ages. Not only does it make you feel confident it completes your look. When turning your head from side to side the highlighter catches the light giving you that uber glamorous effect every women needs.

A lot of women are afraid to use highlighter because they feel too much can give the effect of oily skin. But its how you use the product and remember less is more. When it comes to everyday use you need to use it in these key areas.¬†1.Brow bone 2.tops of cheeks & 3. cupids bow.¬†If you’re going for a high fashion look you can use it on the bridge of your nose and occasionally on the centre of your lips. ( Best product to use when doing mens grooming)

Here below are a couple of photos from a recent shoot using this concept.

Remember makeup is about playing around and coming up with looks that suit you or your client. remember if you apply to much it isn’t the end of the world you can always change it easily.

Concealers :

РYSL Touche Eclat

РLaura Mercier Secret Camoflauge

Foundations, CC creams :

– Illamasqua

Р Shu uemura

РBourjois CC cream

Lots of people have been asking how i achieve that ¬†luminous skin affect on all my models. So i have written a list of my top favourite Concealers and foundations. Most of the time the models have perfect skin so there isn’t much concealing and perfecting so i just use the YSL touch√© Eclat ¬†in the areas where the skin looks slightly darker so thats around the nose, mouth and under the eyes. If the model had a few small blemishes i would then go in with the secret camouflage to hide those unwanted imperfections.

With foundations i tend to use the Bourjois Cc Cream if i want to have a little more coverage but still look natural and fresh. Or if i have a model that has mature skin that needs alot more coverage or say the client has asked for a full coverage i would then use either the Illamasqua or Shu uemura. I haven’t really got a favourite with these two foundations as i feel both work so well but it really depends on the clients skin. I would say the Shu uemura has more of a full coverage affect and you don’t need to apply that much. Whereas the Illamasqua foundation to get full coverage you would need to build it up with a few layers.

Summer Bronze

Summer is just upon us and I’m sure most of you are wanting that summer bronzed glow.

I find a lot of clients that come to me fake tan but don’t fake tan there face reason why there is no point because most women wear makeup and it’ll all come over easily. But want a product that they can wear that will make them look complete but not obviously fake looking. Here is a product that i use that i am absolutely in love with that gives you that bronzed glow but doesn’t look obviously over the top and fake.

The product is ‘Chanel Bronze Universal’ This product to me is a gods send. Not only can you use it under makeup as a base you can also apply it on top of what you’re wearing. Or just wear it as a moisturiser/primer if you want to wear minimal makeup. The only problem i find is for someone on a budget this is quite pricey. But not to worry you can buy an alternative that is alot cheaper and thats the Bronze primer from ‘Bourjois.’
